A bunch of us in the Indy Webcomics group got together at the Red Lion last Sunday, dank some beers, showed off my new hardcover copy of Blacksad, ate some food, and drew stuff.
I must say my favorite was the Osiris Pale, but the Upland Wheat was sadly disappointing, almost like drinking a lite beer. Very sad. I drank it anyway, because our server was being very attentive and patient with our large group. After that Steph and I kept Lee and Samantha up far too late at their house, but damn it feels good to just sit on someone’s deck at night and talk comics and nerd-related madness. I miss that a lot here in Lafayette.
But enough crying in my beer. Here’s the character I had everyone draw: Bossy Nova!
